I didn't give enough information (i.e., I am a member of ASI and I do have the directory; maybe next year we'll have our e-addresses included?) 2. My reason for trying to reach Carolyn via e-mail involved a committee I _THINK_ I talked about to her at the ASI conference--that is why I wanted to contact her personally rather than over through index-l. The reason I THINK I talked to her is becase I may have some names & faces mismatched. Now that Nancy Mulvaney tells us that Carolyn is on vacation for THREE WHOLE WEEKS!!, I'll wait until she is back to work to phone her personally. Thanks to all for your help...
